Cinema Pen

I am an independent Filmmaker, a Writer, and an enthusiastic Tutor of my native Persian/Farsi. I got my second Master in Creative Writing at Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts in assosiation wit USC; I have studied Cinema and Dramatic literature at Tehran University, Faculty of Dramatic Arts.

 

I also studied under the International Writing Program(IWP)at the University of Iowa where I shared my writing and filmmaking experience with 32 other writers from around the Globe.

 

I'm hosting a Persian TV show about independent movies and filmmakers in that entertainment field. The show airs on cable, worldwide via sattelite, plus live stream. 

 

I'm a free lance writer, my works have been published as a collection of short stories [It Passes You By] and also in a variety of journals and online magazines such as eleven, newsvine, articles-base, and so on.

 

I hope this site will be a user driven living space where creative projects will be exchanged
